Load Development
Developing a load for a rifle can be a daunting task even for the experienced shooter and reloader.
At Western Precision Rifles we go to the extreme to tune your rifles to it’s capabilities and give the shooter the results that they want at even extreme ranges.
The primers, powder, brass and bullets used are of the highest quality and consistency.
You can choose a certain bullet that you would like to shoot in your rifle or follow the recommendations of our loading specialist.
The powder is chosen based on burn rate to ensure a complete powder burn while maintaining a proper case fill.
This process also finds where the pressure ceiling is to ensure that it is not exceeded and safe for the shooter.
Once an optimal charge is identified, the rifle will undergo seating depth tests to find a specific length where the rifle is in tune and consistent.
After deciding on the specific load that your rifle shoots best, the trajectories are then “trued” to give you the ballistic data that you need.
